- French Beans 2 cups stringed and choped
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- Rai 1/2 tsp (Mustard seeds)
- Zeera 1/2 tsp (cumin seeds)
- Salt as per taste
- Haldi 1/4 tsp (turmeric powder)
- Onion 1 medium size chopped
- Curry leaves 2
- Dried red chillies 2
- Oil 1tbsp
- Lemon juice 1 tbsp
METHOD:
- Boil the beans adding salt and strain (To retain the green colour just add a pinch of baking soda while boiling)
- Take a pan heat oil in it and add zeera,rai let it crackle
- Now add curry leaves and red chillies and saute
- Now add onion saute for 2 minutes when turns translucent add grated coconut, haldi powder ,boil beans,Lemon juice & salt mix well
- Stir Fry for 3 minutes on medium flames,Now cook till beans are done and water dry
- Serve this with hot roti and dal .........Enjoy
