KALI DAL (URAD SPLIT)
INGREDIENTS:
- Kali dal 11/2 cup (split urad)
- Onion 1 medium chopped
- Ginger 1 tbsp chopped
- Salt as per taste
- Red chilli powder 1tsp
- Green chillies 3 chopped
- Kasuri methi 1 tbsp
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Zeera 1tsp (cumin seeds)
- Hing 1/3 tsp
- Dried red chillies 2
- Oil 1 tbsp
METHOD:
- Boil dal with salt,Onion half chopped,Ginger,Kasuri methi,Red chilli powder in pressure cooker
- When boiled open & add green chillies and cook for other 5 minutes on low flames adding 1 cup water just cover no need for whistle
- Now in a frying pan heat oil ,Add zeera when crackles add dried red chillies ,Chopped garlic,Ginger ,Half onion fry it when turns golden brown add hing
- Once done add this to dal and mix
- Serve this with Plane rice/Roti/Naan..........enjoy...GOD BLESS
