KALI DAL (URAD SPLIT)

INGREDIENTS:


  1. Kali dal 11/2 cup (split urad)
  2. Onion 1 medium chopped
  3. Ginger 1 tbsp chopped
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  6. Green chillies 3 chopped
  7. Kasuri methi 1 tbsp
  8. Garlic 3 cloves
  9. Zeera 1tsp (cumin seeds)
  10. Hing 1/3 tsp
  11. Dried red chillies 2
  12. Oil 1 tbsp

METHOD:

  1. Boil dal with salt,Onion half chopped,Ginger,Kasuri methi,Red chilli powder in pressure cooker 
  2. When boiled open & add green chillies and cook for other 5 minutes on low flames adding 1 cup water just cover no need for whistle
  3. Now in a frying pan heat oil ,Add zeera when crackles add dried red chillies ,Chopped garlic,Ginger ,Half onion fry it when turns golden brown add hing 
  4. Once done add this to dal and mix 
  5. Serve this with Plane rice/Roti/Naan..........enjoy...GOD BLESS
